This is a permanent opportunity for the best in Medical Reception and Administration! My Client is a small but closeknit Medical Centre in Mount Roskill. If you have a strong Administrator/Reception background and have been looking for some extra hours this role would be perfect.
This role is Part time, Fridays only with the hours being 8:00am -5:00pm This person will be an integral part of the administration team within the organisation, so you need to have a can-do attitude, great time management skills, ability to prioritise and self-manage workload. There is a possiblility down the track this could turn into 3 days a week but this is not guaranteed.
As Reception/Administrator, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:
In all contact with patients, visitors, and other staff
Patient information, including a patient's presence in the hospital, as well as their condition, treatment, and medical history, is kept confidential at all times
Accurate patient information is entered into the computer system in a timely manner
A high level of understanding is demonstrated of various software e.g. Medtech, Excel, mail merges to maximize efficiencies
Typing for clinical manuals and documents is completed accurately and to a high standard
Appropriate administration procedure/policy manuals are kept updated
The telephone is answered promptly and politely
All receipt entries are completed accurately and in a timely manner, and receipts are printed as requested
Liaising with the Hospital Manager as required to ensure efficient functioning of the administration area
To be successful in this role:
Previous Reception/administration experience is a must, as are solid MS Office skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook and MedTech Evolution
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong work ethic, and reliable
Effective communication written and verbal
As this is a permanent role, those only with NZ Citizenship or permanent residency will be considered for this role
