Join our small but innovative, social and adventurous medical imaging team. Our Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging to a high standard. The Radiology department operates a day shift 7 days a week with an overnight on call service. This roster is shared equally amongst you and your MIT colleagues. Key responsibilities of the role: * Provide high quality diagnostic imaging in a timely manner. * Deliver safe, respectful, effective and efficient patient care and optimal service delivery. * Participate in a rotating shift roster. * Uphold and meet registration and regulatory CPD requirements. * Work as an effective team player and promote a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationships. Join us - Come and join us at Thames Hospital Mōu | About you * Hold a full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice * Hold a current practising certificate. * Have excellent communication skills. * Have a strong patient focus. * Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. * Utilise excellent time management and organisational skills. * CT user would be an advantage or willingness to be trained in CT.
