Join our small but innovative, social and adventurous medical imaging team. Our Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging to a high standard. The Radiology department operates a day shift 7 days a week with an overnight on call service. This roster is shared equally amongst you and your MIT colleagues. Key responsibilities of the role: * Provide high quality diagnostic imaging in a timely manner. * Deliver safe, respectful, effective and efficient patient care and optimal service delivery. * Participate in a rotating shift roster. * Uphold and meet registration and regulatory CPD requirements. * Work as an effective team player and promote a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationships. We provide services to the wider Coromandel and Hauraki region. Join us - Come and join us at Thames Hospital Mōu | About you * Hold a full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice * Hold a current practising certificate. * Have excellent communication skills. * Have a strong patient focus. * Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. * Utilise excellent time management and organisational skills. * CT user would be an advantage or willingness to be trained in CT. All applicants must have Registration with the MRTB or have an interim APC with conditions to gain full registration.
