Nelson Hospital Radiology is a leading diagnostic provider with two brand-new Siemens dual energy CT scanners and a team of experienced professionals. Our department offers a comprehensive range of imaging services, including General Radiography, CT scanning, MRI, Interventional/Cardiac Cath Lab, and ultrasound, dedicating a gold standard service to a diverse patient population. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service to improve patient outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Radiology team. Our radiology service is committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care across the region. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centred environment. There are opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement.
You will participate in a 24/7 rotating Monday to Sunday shift roster.
The full-time equivalent salary range for Medical Imaging Technologist working 80 hours a week is $74,842 to $104,446 (Steps 1 to 7) based on the current Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

The ideal applicant:
Is registered with the NZMRT Board and holds a current APC or is eligible.
Has proven experience in diagnostic imaging.
Experience in CT is preferred but not essential.
Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
Has commitment to high standards of patient care.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
