This casual role offers the flexibility to work as service needsrequire, making it an ideal fit for professionals looking to balance work andlifestyle. Our radiology service is committed to providing high-qualitydiagnostic imaging to support patient care across the region. As a Medical ImagingTechnologist, you will:
Work alongside a team of skilled professionalsin a friendly, patient-centred environment.
Perform high quality diagnostic imagingprocedures, including X-ray, CT scans, and ultrasound, with accuracy andattention to patient safety.
Collaborate with other healthcareprofessionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging that supports patient diagnosisand treatment.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment,adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Provide compassionate care to patients,ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their imaging experience.
The full-time equivalent salary range for MITs working 80 hours aweek is $74,842 to $104,466 (step 1-7) based on the current APEX MedicalImaging Technologists Collective Agreement dependent on skills, experience, andregistration in NZ.
