About the role: Reporting to the Advertising Sales Manager and working collaboratively with the sales team, your role will involve fostering relationships with both current and prospective customers by developing advertising solutions that address their goals and support their business growth.
This dynamic position entails consulting and selling print and digital advertising across Otago Daily Times, The Star, odt.co.nz, and other targeted publications. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will begin with an established client base. Comprehensive training will be provided to assist you in expanding this base further.
The role is based in our Dunedin office, and a valid driver's license is required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: Media or sales experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Able to think creatively and develop solutions for clients. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, both over the phone and via email. Strong time management and organisational capability. A sense of humour, strong teamwork ethic, reliability, and ability to work to deadlines.
