With a strong forward workload in decarbonisation and the design and build of industrial thermal plant and equipment, they now require an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established team.Responsibilities:Lead the design and engineering of thermal energy pressure vessels and ancillary equipment.Provide management support across multiple projects, coordinating between internal engineering teams, suppliers, and clients.Utilize your technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering to solve complex design challenges.Ensure all designs meet relevant regulatory and safety standards.Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.Your Skills and Experience:Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.10 years+ thermal plant design experience, including pressure vessels.Prior structural and piping design experience desired.Advanced computer skills with Solidworks, Auto CAD, and Microsoft Office suite.Strong leadership and team-building skills.CPEng, IntPE, or MEngNZ desired.Current unrestricted Work Rights for New Zealand.On Offer:Hawkes Bay based.Established company with stable long-term leadership.Industry leaders in sustainable thermal heat transfer plant and equipment.To Apply:You will be provided with a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in thermal energy working with varied industrial manufacturing and government organisations to transition to a sustainable low-carbon future.
