Role Description: The role of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator includes: Maintenance of the treatment plant to ensure that the wastewater treatment facility is maintained and operational at all times. Assistance with consent compliance monitoring. Some administrative tasks. Supervision of suppliers and contractors while they are on-site. Qualifications and Skills: We are seeking a qualified operator with either: The Level 4 National certificate in wastewater treatment, or The Level 5 NZ diploma in wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will have: An aptitude towards mechanical maintenance and general labouring and maintenance duties. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
