We seek an enthusiastic and innovative educator to join our supportive and well-resourced Mathematics Department. High level NCEA and Scholarship achievement is expected at our kura. The ability to teach to NCEA level is preferred.
Our college is situated in Invercargill where housing is affordable and Fiordland and Queenstown are on our back doorstep. We are a co-ed college with consistently high achievement nationally in academia, the arts, and sport. Our learning environment is supportive and well-resourced.
Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
The terms, conditions, and base salary are set by the Secondary Teacher's Collective Agreement (STCA) for the period 2022–2025. The base salary for trained and registered teachers from 2025 ranges from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on qualifications and experience.
Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment by Education Payroll once a role is confirmed.
