Maternal & Infant Mental Health Support Worker

Maternal & Infant Mental Health Support Worker Arataki Ministries provides Community Mental Health services in Whangarei and the wider Northland area. We have a full-time vacancy to join our growing team working as a Maternal & Infant Mental Health Community Support Worker (MiMHS), based in our Whangarei office.
This role entails supporting women who have experienced or are experiencing mental health issues relating to pregnancy, childbirth, and/or the adjustment to parenting.
The successful applicant will have:
Completed Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions (L4) or an equivalent qualification
Passion and empathy for working with mothers and their whanau experiencing a mental health diagnosis
Resilience
Common sense and ability to work as a member of the team and autonomously
Experience in working with people with a mental health and addiction diagnosis
Good communication skills; verbal and written
Good IT skills
Full and clean driver's license
Clear police record
