Matamata ColorShop - Fixed Full Time Retail SalesListed 2 days agoListing DescriptionLocationJob type: Full timeDuration: ContractDescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant for our Matamata ColorShop store on a fixed term contract until the 20th of December 2025.Working alongside the Shop Manager and the rest of the team, you will help to maximise the promotion and sales of Resene products/systems to our trade and retail customers, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Shop. You will learn sound technical knowledge about the industry, developing your skills both in retail sales and paint systems and processes.The Role:Monday 7.30am to 5.00pm & Tuesday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pmSaturdays - Rostered basisFull Time - Total minimum 41 hours per weekFixed Term until 20.12.2025Serving retail and trade customersPoint of Sale operationTinting and mixing Resene productsManual handling/lifting of 4L and 10L paint pailsGeneral daily cleaning duties and closing procedures of the storeGiving advice both technical and colourMonthly after hours training eveningsWorking alongside Sales Representatives and Shop Manager for large orders and projectsAbout You:A "Can-do" attitude, willingness to learn with an interest in colour and technical sales.Great team playerPunctual and reliableIf this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
