Matamata ColorShop - Fixed Full Time Retail SalesResene Paints Ltd – Matamata, North IslandWe are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant for our Matamata ColorShop store on a fixed term contract until the 10th of January 2026.Working alongside the Shop Manager and the rest of the team, you will help to maximise the promotion and sales of Resene products/systems to our trade and retail customers, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Shop. You will learn sound technical knowledge about the industry, developing your skills both in retail sales and paint systems and processes.The Role:Monday 7.30am to 5.00pm & Tuesday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pmSaturdays and Public Holidays (rostered basis)Full Time - Total minimum 41 hours per weekFixed Term until 10.01.2026Serving retail and trade customersPoint of Sale operationTinting and mixing Resene productsManual handling/lifting of 4L and 10L paint pailsGeneral daily cleaning duties and closing procedures of the storeGiving advice both technical and colourMonthly after hours training eveningsWorking alongside Sales Representatives and Shop Manager for large orders and projectsAbout You:Great customer service skillsA "Can-do" attitude, willingness to learn with an interest in colour and technical sales.Great team playerPunctual and reliableBenefits:Ongoing professional developmentIncentivised staff programmesFun and supportive work cultureIf this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
