Marketing Lead

Details of the offer

Banqer Banqer is Australasia's leading financial EdTech company, empowering over half a million students to build financial capability through our innovative technology.
Education and people are at the heart of our business, seamlessly integrated with cutting-edge technology.
We're continuously growing and focused on creating meaningful impact for individuals and local communities while driving commercial outcomes to fuel our mission.
This focus is why we lead in financial education software, locally and internationally.
The Role We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Lead to join our team, working closely with our Marketing Coordinator.
Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with the Revenue Department, especially Sales, you'll drive Banqer's growth in the Australasian market by building and executing marketing strategies across both our primary and secondary school platforms.
This role requires an active contributor who can lead by doing, not just overseeing.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and communicate a clear, actionable marketing strategy grounded in audience personas, ensuring alignment and engagement across the team.
Market and Trend Analysis: Stay on top of trends in financial education, K-12 education, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, sharing key insights with internal stakeholders, including our sales, customer success, and product development teams, to keep our strategy informed and relevant.
Campaign Planning and Execution: Design, execute, and optimise campaigns across current marketing tactics, including event-based marketing, account-based marketing (such as direct mail marketing), community-based acquisition, and email nurture campaigns, to engage and convert prospective customers.
Ensure alignment with sales cycles and key dates.
Brand Positioning: Drive Banqer's brand positioning and market presence, highlighting its unique value in financial education to stand out locally and globally.
Sales Collaboration: Partner with our sales team to design and implement campaigns that effectively attract and convert schools, supporting sales goals with strategic marketing initiatives.
Content Management: Maintain a comprehensive content library and oversee the creation of new content across platforms to support Banqer's marketing goals and audience engagement.
Process Improvement: Develop scalable processes to ensure best practices in campaign execution, lead management, and content distribution, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, optimising resource allocation across campaigns, tools, and partnerships to maximise impact and cost-efficiency.
Analytics and Feedback Utilisation: Use analytics and user feedback to continuously refine marketing strategies, enhancing engagement, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
Partner Collaboration: Work closely with partners, who support schools to access Banqer, to celebrate and activate our partnerships, creating joint marketing initiatives that showcase our collective impact and strengthen Banqer's presence in the education sector.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including media, agencies, and educational organisations, to expand brand reach and credibility.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Define, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing activities, regularly reporting on performance and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements We're looking for an experienced marketer with a proven record of developing and executing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
While we can provide training on certain specifics, this role requires someone who can jump in with confidence and make an immediate impact.
Now you know the key responsibilities of the role, who are you?  Relevant Experience: You have proven experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within software or a start-up, with a track record of driving commercial outcomes.
You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strategic Communicator: You're skilled in both written and verbal communication, capable of clearly articulating strategies and building strong internal and external relationships.
Self-Starter: You work independently, showing initiative and delivering results without needing extensive oversight.
Emotional Intelligence: You bring a high level of emotional intelligence, working effectively with team members and partners and adapting your approach as needed.
Analytical Thinker: You're adept at using data to drive decisions, evaluate campaign success, and refine strategies.
Time Management: You excel at managing time and resources, balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Resilience: You remain focused and composed under pressure, taking ownership of both wins and setbacks to drive continuous improvement.
Leadership: You bring leadership experience, whether formal or informal, and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Marketing Tools Proficiency: You're skilled in using marketing automation tools and CRMs; familiarity with ActiveCampaign is a plus.
Collaborative In-Office Culture: You embrace an 'office first' culture, working shoulder to shoulder with your colleagues to foster a collaborative and engaging work environment.
Passion for Financial Education: You're committed to Banqer's mission of promoting financial literacy and have a passion for financial education.
Benefits At Banqer, we're dedicated to high performance as a team.
Start-up life isn't for everyone, but if you're driven, ambitious, and enjoy working with passionate, talented people, this might be the place for you.
Our values, Team Player, Have Heart, and Whakawhanake, shape our culture, setting an environment where we can excel and enjoy the ride.
Benefits include: Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
The tools you need to do great work.
Meaningful work with direct impact, including regular school visits to see Banqer in action.
Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
A team-focused culture that celebrates achievements and creates opportunities to connect.
Intrigued?
We're proud of what we've built and seek someone who sees the value they can bring to the role and what we offer in return.
If you're excited about joining a mission-driven team committed to transforming financial education, apply for the Marketing Lead role at Banqer.  Help us empower brighter financial futures!
