Freedom Pilates Equipment - Marketing Executive

Freedom Pilates Equipment is a dynamic and rapidly growing reformer Pilates equipment company, with a mission of making reformer Pilates accessible to more kiwis! We are dedicated to providing high-quality Pilates equipment for fitness enthusiasts, professionals, and studios across the country. As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are seeking a talented Marketing Executive to join our Christchurch-based team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Executive to help develop and implement our marketing strategy, as well as lead our social media strategy. The ideal candidate will be passionate about reformer Pilates, fitness and wellness, possess a deep understanding of social media platforms, and have experience in driving engagement and sales through compelling content and wider marketing strategies. The Marketing Executive will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and driving revenue through effective marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Help develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging posts across platforms.
Stay up to date with industry trends and platform updates to optimize strategy accordingly.
Produce high-quality, visually appealing content (text, images, videos) that showcases our reformer Pilates equipment, online studio offering, and the Freedom Pilates team and brand.
Foster and grow an active and engaged online community through regular interaction and responsiveness on our platforms.
Monitor social media channels for trends, discussions, and opportunities for engagement.
Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, promotions, and sales.
Utilize social media advertising to reach and convert potential customers.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Marketing Executive/Social Media Manager or similar role.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
Experience with producing EDM is a plus.
Passion for fitness and knowledge of the Pilates industry is highly desirable.
Hours:
We envisage this role will require between 24-40 hours per week, subject to responsibilities and candidate suitability. We operate a flexible hours policy that allows for team members to generally work within hours that suit their needs and circumstances.
