Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications) The opportunity: We are looking for an innovative and tech-savvy Marketing Assistant to join this global engineering consultancy to drive their marketing strategy and collateral in this newly created role. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours, Monday – Friday) and could be based at either their Christchurch or Wellington offices. The role is ideally office-based but could offer 1-2 days WFH once you are settled in the role. *This is not a graduate role and requires proven experience in a similar role. The role will see you: Your role is largely autonomous but will see you work closely with technical staff to assist them with marketing collateral, social media, and marketing strategies that are competitive in the industry. You will also from time to time be required to assist with general office administration. Your key duties will include: Assist in the development of content to be used across various channels, while managing the consistency of the brand Contribute to digital channels and social media content, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, website Assist with the coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns Schedule and publish content across social media platforms and monitor audience engagement with posts Use analytics tools to track and report on engagement and performance of marketing activities Sponsorship and event coordination Assist with general administration and support to the wider team What you'll bring: You will ideally be degree qualified (Marketing or similar) and have proven experience working in a corporate environment with knowledge across relevant marketing platforms. Further to this, you will be tech-savvy and have working knowledge of the Adobe Suite and Canva. Other characteristics/experience you will bring include: High attention to detail Good verbal & written communication SEO knowledge Social Media savvy Adaptability What's on offer: In return, you will work for a company that has expanded throughout New Zealand and is working on exciting projects throughout the country.
