Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Relationship Building: Understanding and navigating the unique business environments of Papua New Guinea
and other Pacific Islands will be crucial. This includes dealing with different regulatory frameworks, cultural nuances,
and logistical complexities.
Market Development: Launching a new retail store in competitive markets like New Zealand and PNG will
require meticulous work on the foundation of our company, planning, strong vendor relationships, and effective marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Optimising Procurement: Streamlining procurement processes across diverse product categories and ensuring
consistent quality and cost-effectiveness will be a significant challenge, requiring strategic negotiation skills and process improvement expertise.
Building and Leading a Lean Team: Establishing and working with a team with the highest output using technology to meet your objectives while keeping the team size as lean as possible will be essential. This involves effective delegation, resource management, and team development to achieve business goals.
Using technology to drive efficiency, innovation, and progress within your area.
You will have at least 5 years work experience in a similar role with knowledge of the PNG and Pacific Markets.
