Reporting to the Asset Manager (Marine), you will be responsible for the development of maintenance planning strategies and schedules within the marine section.
Your primary focus will be providing oversight and coordination of planning, scheduling and optimisation of maintenance and leading a team to ensure all marine asset related activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, within budget and in accordance with statutory obligations, regulations, and relevant codes of industry best practice.
This is an exciting role that will see you leading asset optimisation initiatives and will see your future focus aligned with our transition to electric mobility of our vessel fleets.
As part of this role you will: Develop, implement and oversee a condition-based monitoring programme Conduct planning and scheduling of all marine maintenance Coordinate resourcing of marine projects alongside marine maintenance commitments Provide oversight and expertise to support repair and maintenance activities Skills & Experience Proven experience working in the marine industry and working in a marine engineering/asset management role required Experience with computer based asset management software (Maximo, SAP, NS5 Enterprise, etc.)
Relevant marine engineering tertiary qualification would be a bonus Seagoing maritime experience as Marine Engineer Class II (STCW Second Engineer) or higher would be preferred Familiarity with vessel rules and standards (MNZ, DNV, ABS, etc.)
