Marine Engine Installer

Rayglass Boats, New Zealand's premier fibreglass powerboat manufacturer, is on the lookout for a Marine Engine Installer to become part of our innovative and passionate team. Based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Takanini, this is your opportunity to work on some of the country's most respected boats.
About the Role:
As a Marine Engine Installer, you'll be responsible for installing inboard and outboard engines as well as a variety of marine electronics on boats ranging from 22 to 42 feet. You'll be fitting brand-new components on brand-new boats, ensuring an exceptional finish that meets our production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing engines and complete engine packages.
Fitting electronic systems including radar, GPS, radios, and more.
Wiring looms, switch panels, and other electrical components.
Performing final detailing and quality control checks.
Assisting with other production and fit-out tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
While prior experience in marine engine installation is not essential, familiarity with 12V electrical systems is a definite advantage. If you have a passion for boats and enjoy hands-on, high-quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you!
What We Offer:
A full-time position (Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM).
