You will be joining a team that has lots of knowledge to share.The key purpose of this role is to provide a friendly, safe and secure environment for customers and users of the marina, 24 hours 7 days a week. It is a customer-focused role and requires a positive and flexible attitude to maintain Westhaven Marina's position as a premier marina facility and welcoming place for the community, visitors and berth users. Day-to-day you could expect to work on: Being the first point of contact for marina customers Answering customer enquiries and processing berth bookings Meet & greet arriving boats Assist with dock (mooring) lines Ensure proper power and water connections for arriving boats Inform customers on facilities (sewage, rubbish disposal, etc.) and local amenities He korero mou: About youThis role requires experience in similar customer service roles where you have been the front-of-house or first point of contact. Knowledge of boating/marinas/etc. is advantageous, but the team is very open to training the right person!You will need to be physically fit and comfortable working outside.
