If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have extensive Iwi and Maori Business networks and are dedicated to delivering world-class experiences, we want to hear from you!About the roleThe purpose of the Maori Business Development Manager role is to build and maintain strong relationships with Iwi, Maori Business and international indigenous partners to connect them to the Hidden Aotearoa platform and to support them to achieve their Tourism Business Development aspirations and goals. Hidden Aotearoa provides a platform to create innovative ways for visitors to learn about and deepen their connection with cultural indigenous heritage through new interactive experiences.This is a leadership role focused on driving business development, while also honouring the cultural heritage and perspectives of Maori and international Indigenous communities. It emphasises innovation, collaboration, and the development of sustainable business practices rooted in indigenous values. This role will support our business growth by connecting, onboarding and maintaining clients for Hidden Aotearoa.Ideal Candidate:Experience: At least 5 years' experience working with Iwi and Maori Business with a strong background in leadership, sales and/or experience in a similar Maori Business Development role.Relationship Management: Your ability to connect and engage with Iwi, Maori Business and international indigenous partners will be second to none.Driven for results: You are proactive, driven to meet business targets and deliver results.A lived experience of te ao Maori: You will have a deep understanding of Tikanga Maori and confident in sharing your knowledge with the wider team.
