Te Turanga - The Role
As a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator , you'll play a crucial role in producing high-quality radio equipment and ancillary products. Your work ensures our surface mount production lines operate efficiently, maintaining high standards while minimising waste.
This dynamic role involves working with a variety of equipment and components, offering a diverse range of tasks across your weekly shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with or operate the surface mount technology line, including automatic assembly equipment.
Handle components, set up, and adjust equipment to meet production and delivery needs.
Collaborate with the wider surface mount team to address issues and share progress updates.
Solve machine and placement issues, perform quality inspections, and rework when needed.
Follow established safety and efficiency procedures.
