Qualified Mechanic

Caltex Kaikoura is currently recruiting for a Trade Qualified Automotive Mechanic to join their team. No two days are the same in a rural garage like Caltex Kaikoura. You will be expected to work on cars, boats, trucks, and campervans.
We seek an applicant who:
Has knowledge and experience with a variety of makes and models of vehicles
Trade Qualification as an Automotive Mechanic or equivalent
Pays attention to detail and shows initiative to deliver outstanding customer experience
Works well in a team environment as well as autonomously
Is well-presented, punctual, and responsible
Has good communication skills and a friendly disposition
Holds a current NZ driver's licence
Key responsibilities:
Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles
Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of issues and faults
Testing and reassembling mechanical parts after being repaired
Assisting with customer queries when required
Calling suppliers to source parts and pricing
Assisting in keeping the workshop clean and orderly
