You would be involved in researching and recommending investment strategies in relation to ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) matters including exclusions, climate risk and stewardship.Other key areas of focus are:Oversee and manage responsible investing activities of ASB's underlying investment managers.Contribute to ASB working groups related to environmental and social matters that may affect the ASB investment products (e.g. modern slavery working group, climate risk related disclosures).Present to governance forums and provide information to advisers, staff and customers about responsible investing processes and performance of underlying fund managers, and other investment matters.Perform ad-hoc research on investment matters that impact ASB's investment products.Handle and address ad-hoc queries related to performance and policies of ASB's investment products.Nga mea kia whai angitu ahau? | What do I need to be successful?5+ years of experience in investments, financial markets or funds management type of roles.Graduate qualifications in Finance, Economics, Sustainability or a related field (CFA designation preferred).Sound knowledge of financial markets and portfolio construction is essential.Understanding of ESG factors and their impact on investment performance.Demonstrate a strong customer-centric mindset, prioritizing customer needs and delivering exceptional service to enhance overall customer experience.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior and executive management.Possess analytical skills and can provide timely and accurate recommendations based on comprehensive analysis, experience, and judgement.Exhibit a high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB:In return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
