Our reach is large, each year VTNZ carry out over one and half million car and truck inspections and assessments and well over 300,000 practical driver tests. Manager Operations Delivery
The Manager Operations Delivery supports the General Manager Operations to ensure the wider operations support group leaders and team deliver safe, profitable, effective and timely business services for VTNZ. The Manager Operations Delivery is the link between customers and business services at the ground level, ensuring that the highest quality and consistent service is delivered across all business networks at VTNZ sites and with partners.
Spanning all aspects of VTNZ business delivery, the Manager Operations Delivery leads all functions to deliver best practice business advice and solutions in:
Operational excellence putting customer at forefront to deliver business outcomes/successVehicle inspections Quality Assurance and complianceDriver testing – scheduling, compliance and customer feedbackFront counter – compliance, regulatory and auditTaking the lead from the GM Operations, the Manager Operations Delivery manages relationships and leads operational changes identified as part of their role with NZTA to ensure VTNZ has successful strategic and operational partnership to cement their role as primary partner with the Agency.
We are looking for a proven senior leader with: Experience and knowledge managing and leading large operational customer led businessesDemonstrated success in managing high performing teams with a focus on coaching and developmentAbility to work across functional lines and diverse ranges of experience to deliver optimal solutionsProven ability to translate strategy into operational excellence and business profitKnowledge of vehicle inspection and compliance industry or a similar regulated business environmentAct as an internal consultant and industry liaisonOperational management including logistics, budgeting and business planningTo apply for this position please visit www.h2r.co.nz and refer to reference number 911751.
