Every business faces indirect taxes issues, and your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate these challenges. You'll be learning, problem-solving, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our exciting practice.Understand, research and apply relevant tax legislation to complex GST and Customs client issuesHelp clients assess and manage their tax risks through reviews and data analytic solutionsSupport clients with their compliance with GST and other indirect taxesEngage with clients to understand their business, identify issues they face, and develop solutions to meet their needsLiaise with other teams within the organisation to deliver the best client experienceAssist the wider team on significant indirect taxes law reform and regular engagement with policy officialsWhat you bring:With this being a specialist role, you should bring a wealth of skills to the table. Your ability to understand complex tax legislation will be invaluable in providing advice to our clients. Your experience in dealing with technical GST and Customs issues will enable you to help our clients navigate their tax risks. Your legal background will provide additional depth to your understanding of tax laws.
