This includes investigation, design, design reports, costing, and managing the construction of these projects as per the annual program approved by NZ Transport.To be successful in this role, you will need:3rd level qualifications in a relevant field (Civil Engineering preferred).Experience in AC paving, chip sealing, and all forms of road construction.Proven ability to build a culture of success and drive project performance to meet deadlines and contractual requirements.Ability to interpret, evaluate, and analyze plans, diagrams, and sketches.Excellent operations management and people leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach your team.Strong understanding of health and safety risks and compliance requirements in the civil construction environment.Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen, a track record of delivering projects on or under budget, and the ability to manage commercial relationships with suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors.Strong planning skills and experience in running and delivering a programme of works.The CompanyVentia is a leading provider of construction, engineering, project management, asset management, and maintenance services in New Zealand and across the globe.
