About the roleThis newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the Electricity Authority's engagement approach with industry and stakeholders. As Manager – Engagement, you'll lead a high-performing team committed to fostering meaningful relationships with key partners, including government agencies, industry participants, and consumer groups.
Reporting to the General Manager – Communication, Engagement and Data, you'll develop strategies and lead delivery of tactics to develop mutually beneficial relationships that enhance trust and confidence and support the Authority's objectives. You'll also collaborate closely with other senior leaders, including the Manager – Communications, to ensure alignment and integration across engagement activities.
Are you someone with the following?Proven leadership experience, with at least 5+ years of mentoring, coaching and supporting teams to achieve tangible resultsStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsA genuine passion for people and ability to develop authentic connections with a broad range of individuals and organisationsA track record of delivering and leading stakeholder engagement strategies with measurable outcomes.Exceptional relationship development and written and verbal communication skills.A collaborative mindset and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.Experience leading through change and an ability to work in an agile environmentExperience and/or knowledge of the energy sector, regulation or similarly complex sectors (advantageous).If you're a dynamic leader with strong relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
