Every day will be different, presenting new opportunities to support economic wellbeing through:Strategic initiatives that inspire growth and community resilience.Partnerships that align with the aspirations of our people and communities.Hands-on leadership that drives change through meaningful action.Your role:As Manager Economic Wellbeing you will:Champion Economic Wellbeing: Collaborate and innovate to deliver our co-designed Economic Wellbeing Strategy.Engage with Stakeholders: Build bridges between Council teams and external partners to create inclusive growth.Lead with Insight: Monitor economic trends and guide the development of policies and plans that anticipate challenges and opportunities.As part of working at ODC you may be relied upon to support the response in the event of a civil emergency. You will be provided with all the necessary training to support such a response.What you bring:A strategic mindset, exceptional communication, and a proven record of fostering relationships.Experience in leading multi-faceted projects, public speaking confidence, and the initiative to work independently.Familiarity with economic development, regional planning, or project management is an advantage - but your passion for the community and adaptable approach are what set you apart.RemunerationThe remuneration range for this role is $94,098 - $110,714 per annum (pro-rated).
