Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the CAD team on projects, reviewing job specifications, coordinating with Joinery Project Managers, conducting team meetings, and overseeing budget management. The compensation is $42 - $52 per hour for a 45-hour working week. Microvellum experience is a necessity.
Responsibilities:

Lead the CAD team on projects, ensuring designs meet project requirements and timelines.
Review job specifications and technical drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
Collaborate with Joinery Project Managers (JPMs) to schedule and plan project milestones.
Conduct performance reviews and provide mentorship to CAD team members.
Manage CAD department budget and resource allocation.
Lead weekly CAD production meetings to track progress and resolve issues promptly.
Keep the General Manager Joinery updated on project status and challenges.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in CAD software; Microvellum experience is a necessity, Revit is a bonus.
Experience within the cabinetry / joinery industry.
Proven leadership experience in managing CAD teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize workflows.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster teamwork and client relationships.
