Position Overview This is a critical role in the planning and implementation of Change Management and Training activities for the roll out of National Programmes across multiple institutions. This role will be expected to take on key pieces of work, participate actively in meetings, managing vendors & stakeholders, resolving or escalating issues and driving to execution. The role may also be called upon to support other projects within the BCA (Business Change & Adoption) portfolio.
Role & Responsibilities A change manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Develop engagement strategy and determine enablement activities
Obtain alignment with internal stakeholders
Obtain support from key functions to facilitate the execution of engagement and enablement activities
Ensure execution as planned and adjust plans as required
Execute and track progress of engagement and enablement activities
Identify and report risks and issues that could impede our goals
Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Requirements More than 5 years of experience with Business Consulting, Corporate Communications or Organizational Change Management project planning and execution
At least 3 years of experience in project, training and resource management
At least 3 years of experience in public service or large-scale IT implementation
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Able to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
Meticulous and sensitive to details
Able to cope in a dynamic working environment
Experience in healthcare industry or Organization Change Management would be an added advantage
