Description We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our fun, fast-paced team. Support and training into the position will be provided. This is a rare opportunity for a full-time permanent role at Vangalas Ltd. The role includes: Leading the front of house team during a shift, with our Core Values in mind.
Ensuring all customers have a great experience and want to return.
Ensuring compliance with the Liquor Act at all times, including checking IDs, monitoring alcohol consumption, and ensuring customers leave safely.
Assisting with staff training on shift.
Setting the right atmosphere (lighting, music, temperature).
Communicating with the kitchen team, calling wait times on food, and checking all tables are happy.
Daily checks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
The role includes working evenings, public holidays, and weekends. It also involves purchasing and creating menus, as well as taking group bookings.
The right applicant will hold a liquor license certificate and have worked in a similar environment. We will consider other applications if the person can obtain a manager's certificate immediately. An immediate start is available, but we are happy to work around notice periods.
