Management Accountant/Senior Management Accountant

The Role

In this role you'll be reporting in to a new look Finance leadership team, and you will build to a wide remit outside of your usual BAU Management Accounting. The key responsibilities are as follows:

Preparation of Monthly Management reporting
Assist in the preparation of Budgets, quarterly forecasting
Monthly variance analysis
Business Partnering with key stakeholders
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ad hoc project work

The long term plan for this role is to progress it in a Business Partner path where you will use your finance and commercial acumen to provide detailed financial advice and drive performance. You will also be given scope to help implement new systems and processes.

About You

This role could either be a performed at a Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant level, depending on your level of experience. As a Senior, you will come from a Commercial Management/Corporate Accounting background, either looking for a step up, or a new long term home. For a Management Accountant, you might come from a BAS Accounting background looking for your first role out of a firm, with experience in the fundamentals of Management Accounting (Budgeting, journals, forecasts, variance analysis).

The Essentials Are As Follows

Recent experience in a commercial environment essential.
CA qualified or equivalent
Someone excited about a variety of business, building relationships.
A high level of initiative
And a can-do personality and a willingness to get stuck in!

Benefits:

The salary on offer is $100000 - $130000 + Kiwisaver, again depending on your experience. There is some possibility for WFH days once embedded in the role, and there is relative flexibility when needed (school drop offs, appointments etc). The Finance team are a good bunch, relatively social and very friendly. And they have recently refurbished offices in Gracefield.
