Management Accountant

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and insightful monthly reporting so that readers understand the financial performance and are well-placed to make informed decisions that will benefit the whole of Trade Me.
Here's what you can expect from this role: Act as a trusted partner, supporting the business through the provision of management accounting knowledge and analysis to enable effective decision-making.
You will be the key Finance go-to for your business areas, illustrating an understanding of key performance drivers, as well as partnering with the teams on various analysis or projects.
You'll have a key role in the month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and contribute to associated reporting and presentations, with insightful commentary, to leadership and Board.
Review our monthly financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and assist in the preparation of monthly management and board reports, including commentary, graphs, and supporting analysis/documentation.
What you will bring to our team: You'll have relevant experience as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
2+ years FP&A experience in a large finance team or large corporate environment.
Experience with medium-large FMIS and planning tools.
Have experience as a trusted advisor and partner with internal stakeholders.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-changing environment.
