About the opportunity Reporting to the Senior Commercial Business Partner this position will focus on T&G's apples operations business unit. You will have the opportunity to utilise your technical accounting skillset while also offering a business partnering element. T&G is a complex global business with lots of moving parts, so there will be no shortage of challenges in this dynamic role!
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the month-end process for assigned portfolios including processing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger. Prepare monthly financial reports to capture spend vs. budget and investigate material variances. Prepare and present results to senior management in commercial review meetings. Support the Operations Finance team to produce modelling and scenario-building. Assist with the design and execution of an effective annual budget cycle. About you Our ideal applicant would present with clear understanding of the fundamentals of accounting. You would have sound management and financial accounting foundations exposure and strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Degree qualified in Accounting & Finance or similar discipline CA/part CA qualified desirable Ideally, experience gained working in management or commercial accounting Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to PowerBI would be a bonus Experience in horticulture or manufacturing industries would be an advantage Apply now We will be assessing applications as they are received and may close the role once we have found our next colleague.
