To support us on our continued journey, we are seeking a Management Accountant to provide financial expertise to our support office and wider village teams and to complete and enhance the efficiency of reporting across Metlifecare. Working as part of the wider finance team, you will ensure reporting is completed accurately and on time and be responsible for overseeing, developing and maintaining procedures and systems ensuring business performance is maximised. Key responsibilities will include: To ensure accurate preparation of management reports and develop business performance sustainably through business partnering with individual village managers. Proactively work with stakeholder teams to ensure the management reporting process is as simple and effective as possible. Provide financial insights by performing analyses and investigations to aid effective decision making by stakeholders. Add value to the wider business by identifying key areas in need of improvements and establish a more efficient and effective processes. Contribute to budgeting, quarterly report and variance analysis. Adhoc project work. About you You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and professional membership (CAANZ/CPA or working towards this) and have proven experience working in high performing teams delivering high quality output. With previous experience with monthly management reporting, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, taxation and budgeting/forecasting. You will also ideally have exposure to Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting software. If you have experience with property and the retirement industry this would be highly advantageous as would Big 4 experience.
