Management Accountant Role Location: Auckland Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 Who they are: FMCG business with a great portfolio of snack food & on-the-go meals.

Based in the office and manufacturing site in South Auckland, you will be working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure that the financial insights support critical decisions.

The role: Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will spend most of your time with Operations, Supply Chain & Production to get deep into understanding the key drivers.
Your responsibilities will include: Management reporting around labour/resourcing, raw materials, and production productivity.
Attending team meetings to present weekly and monthly financial reports and identify opportunities to enhance, optimise, or create more meaningful financial insights.
Working closely with the Head of Finance NZ and your peers in Australia to implement best practice processes and streamline reporting between multiple locations.
Reviewing and analysing manufacturing KPIs and supporting the team to achieve the right outcomes.
Your experience: You do not need to have FMCG experience, although it is preferred.
The business is open to anyone who has worked in a complex environment before where there are multiple moving parts; for example, manufacturing, high-volume distribution, shipping and logistics, construction, or retail.
You will need to be curious!
This is an interesting role for those who want to stretch their commercial and analytical skills as you will learn product costing (from raw materials to finished goods), ROI and investment analysis, and be involved in decision-making.
The skills, experience, and knowledge we are looking for: Previous management accounting, business partnering, or financial analysis experience in a mid to large, complex environment.
Curious and commercial, with examples of where your questioning has led to improved outcomes for the business.
Desire to build your career: We are looking for someone who wants to start here but grow into Commercial Finance Management.
