The region itself boasts adventure and natural beauty both above and below the ground.Job DescriptionReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Management Accountant will partner closely with the organisation, providing accurate reliable information and insights to enable it to monitor performance and make sound strategic decisions.You'll get to work on major projects as well as business-as-usual work. Delivering business reporting and providing expert financial advice across WDC will also be a key part of the role.You will be excited by the breadth and depth of their services and willing to really understand, and contribute to, the mahi they do.You will bring with you a range of skills across accounting, reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual), and cost benefit analysis, complemented by an understanding of how to build great working relationships in order to work in true partnership with the business. You'll also have a sense of the bigger picture and be the champion of the Long Term Plan.QualificationsYou will be skilled in translating financial and operational information into practical commercial and business outcomes, and relish influencing and advising non-financial stakeholders… and embracing the challenges this sometimes brings! As part of this you will provide financial literacy training across the organisation.To be successful is this role, you will:Have at least five years' experience in a similar role and a relevant tertiary qualification (ideally be a CA)Experience working with financial modelling and management systems to analyse data and prepare reportsHave demonstrated experience in a similar role with exposure to month end processes and monthly reportingEnjoy developing strong relationships across all levels of the organisationHave the ability to develop and write robust and comprehensive policy and procedural documentsBe a confident writer with excellent communication skills.Additional InformationThe role attracts a good remuneration package and has the ability to be part of a thriving organisation.Please note our pre-employment process includes both credit, qualification and criminal history checks.If this role sounds ideal to you, please apply below.
