The role
Reporting to the Network Finance Business Partner, the role is varied and your responsibilities will include:
Prepare budget/forecast templates for completion by budget holders and consolidate results.
Assist with the Group inputs for the Network Budget, Forecasts and 10-year plans.
Prepare supporting analysis for budgets/forecasts, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
Support the business by providing financial analysis and information to allow them to drill into and increase their understanding of costs drivers and spend profiles.
Complete month end and year end processes to ensure a robust result, including certain journals and reconciliations.
Support the preparation of the regulatory reporting required by the Commerce Commission.
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as reasonably required.
About you
This is a busy role with tight deadlines, it goes without saying you will be resilient and comfortable dealing with people at all levels. You will also have:
Proven financial management experience and be either a CA or working towards the qualification.
Demonstrated experience in Excel and other Microsoft programmes.
Ability to build and strengthen strong interpersonal and collaborative working relationships.
Strong robust numerical and analytical skills and business acumen.
Experience working on ERP/MRP systems like SAP/JDE (preferable).
You will be someone with the aptitude to foresee challenges, read situations, meet deadlines and champion best practice.
