As Maintenance Department Manager you will be directly responsible for the overall operating performance of the department. We're looking for someone with: 5 years relevant experience within roading maintenance and construction Leadership and people management experience with a strong focus on mentoring and development Understanding of job pricing including labour, plant and materials and associated margin / profit calculations Operational management – planning, resource allocation and coordination Financial management of budgets, cost-benefit analysis, reconciliation, reporting Have a solid understanding of civil construction methods, systems and techniques Time management skills and ability to prioritise to meet numerous and demanding deadlines Advanced computer literacy, keyboard and file management skills Creating, Connecting and caring for the community.
