Are you a hands-on hero with a knack for fixing things and a flair for luxury? We're seeking a Maintenance Manager to keep our luxury property running like a well-oiled machine. What you will do This is the perfect position for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get involved. This role sees the successful candidate ensuring that facilities, systems, and assets are impeccably maintained and operational to provide a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
General property (suite and lodge) painting, repairs, and maintenance
Ensure the property meets council regulations at all times
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
Guest interaction and support where required (including assisting with luggage)
Maintain the correct usage of all Lodge plant and equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
To ensure you are professional and polite to guests and to attend to their requirements promptly and efficiently
To ensure the smooth running of all property equipment
Check the daily farm sheet for any urgent tasks to be completed
Check gas tank readings and report to Manager if gas needs to be ordered
Check pumps in sewerage treatment plant and make sure air pumps are working
To carry out specific weekly and monthly tasks as set by yourself and the Operations Manager
Make sure all maintenance provisions are stored and secured in the appropriate area
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met as per the specifics set out
To be familiar with H&S Policy and Procedure ensuring the safety of guests and staff at all times
To effectively manage the Maintenance team: Developing, training, and motivating staff
To keep all service manuals up to date and correct and to document equipment schedules wherever necessary
Drive Sustainability initiatives and report on sustainable practices
What you will bring 3+ years experience in maintenance roles
Relevant Trade Qualification (Electrical, Plumber, Gasfitter, HVAC etc)
A friendly and approachable personality
Can-do attitude
The ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize
An uncompromising attitude to Health & Safety
A high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
A full drivers licence and access to your own reliable transport
Well presented and a good level of physical fitness
Flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and public holidays)
