Our Hastings team is looking for a dynamic Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team to new heights of performance reliability.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading the maintenance department.
Your leadership will ensure that all maintenance activities are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians, implementing strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance, and collaborating with the Project Engineer on the implementation of capital projects.
About the role Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
Maintenance Planning: Identify, develop, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally.
Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any maintenance issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operations.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Promote a culture of safety within the team.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Capital Projects: Provide input into the development of site projects and ensure safe labor allocation for site projects as required.
About you Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, machinery, and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Demonstrated ability to organize own workload, prioritize outputs, and work within time constraints.
Ability to manage budgets and financial aspects of the maintenance department.
