About the Role We are looking for a mechanically minded and safety focused Maintenance Engineer for our Palmerston North site. This is an exciting and diverse hands-on role where no two days are the same! You will provide effective and efficient delivery of multi-faceted Maintenance Services at the Palmerston North Hospital, as well as perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks within the building.
About You The successful candidate should be motivated and willing to work hard to ensure their own personal growth and the development of the team. There is a strong focus on meeting client expectations and providing high levels of customer service.
Trade qualified in Maintenance Engineering (Fitting, turning and machining)
A minimum of 10 years' experience in building services/facilities environment
Competent in boiler operation and maintenance, HVAC plant, power generation plant, medical gasses, chillers, RO plant, lifting equipment and hospital relevant systems
Ability to work autonomously
Strong commitment towards safety, productivity and continuous improvement
Ability to work with people from all walks of life
Hours of Work 8am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
