Live Wires Contracting Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty. As a full-time Maintenance shift Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's electrical systems and equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and modifications as required
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
Collaborate with other tradespeople and technicians to coordinate and complete projects
What We're Looking For
Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Registration or License
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance electrician role
Proven track record of effectively troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment
Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and attention to detail
