Rooney Earthmoving Ltd is a large family-owned South Island business with work bases in Invercargill, Oamaru, Waimate, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch. We have been around for over 45 years and have become a trusted, progressive brand in the civil construction industry.
We are currently recruiting for permanent roles to join our Christchurch construction teams.

Due to our solid forward civil work program, we need to recruit Machine Operators with attributes that include:

Skilled on a range of civil construction earthmoving and drainage on GPS excavators.
A proven knowledge of health and safety standards and systems on civil projects.
A team member who works with others to get good results.
Skilled to complete final trim but also knows about maintaining a productive output.
Can work the hours and get the results without damaging the gear.
