Are you a skilled Machine Operator looking to take on something a bit different?We are on the look-out for a new member to join our Construction Sports Fields team on a fixed-term, full time basis starting now working through for 6 months.
Our dedicated Renovation Team specialises in high-profile projects that set the standard for excellence in sports field construction and maintenance.
From racecourses and FIFA pitches to iconic spaces like the Auckland Domain, our team are incredibly hard workers who take pride in transforming these spaces into top-quality playing surfaces.
About the RoleAs a Machine Operator, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-profile projects that elevate sports fields to the next level.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drainage: Installing effective drainage systems for optimal field performance.Irrigation: Setting up and maintaining irrigation systems.Operating Heavy Machinery: Putting your skills to work on loaders, tractors, sand spreaders, and trenchers.Mowing: Helping to maintain pristine sports fields.Construction Tasks: Assisting with all aspects of sports field construction.Team Collaboration: Lending a hand wherever needed to support team success.Please note: This role requires occasional travel outside of Auckland, with plenty of notice provided beforehand. What You'll BringWe're looking for someone with the expertise and drive to excel in this hands-on role.
Ideally, you'll have:
A full Class 2 driver's licence (Class 4 is a bonus!
