We want someone who is willing to learn, interested in Logistics and Supply chain as a career, here is an opportunity to learn about temperature-controlled product and pick/pack & dispatch within a structured GMP environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have: * Strong attention to detail and a professional attitude * Experience and/or a willingness to embrace and work in a highly regulated environment * Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and cope with interruptions * Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and stock control applications * Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships both internal and external clients from a variety of backgrounds, and at all levels of the organisation * Respects and values our cultural diversity It is essential that you are physically fit and like to work in a small team environment.
The primary focus and duties of this role are based around our lifesaving blood products including pick, pack and dispatch, inwards goods, stock control and excellent customer service About New Zealand Blood and Organ Service New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) is dedicated to saving lives.
Every year, tens of thousands of generous people donate their time, blood and plasma to us for free.
In addition to our vein-to-vein service in transfusion, we also provide national services in organ transplantation, cellular therapies and tissue banking.
We exist to ensure the efficient delivery of safe blood and tissue products on a time critical basis throughout New Zealand and through the generosity of our donors; we are able to help save lives.
