Total Care Health Service is a leading and trusted provider of wound care services to ACC.
We provide assessment of acute and complex wounds using products that are up to date and are at the leading edge of the wound management process.
You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with specialist wound care skills, IV and Urinary Catheter Management skills.
No day will be the same, visiting clients at their home, workplace, or place of study.
Our community nursing services operate seven days a week.
A range of positions is available from 0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE working rostered days including weekends and public holidays.

We provide ongoing in-service education on a regular basis.
We offer: Comprehensive induction and preceptor programme The support of a dedicated team of Clinical Nurse Leaders Tablet, phone, and company vehicle (work use only) Current wound care technologies to choose from Access to learning and professional development Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi | About this position and the requirements A qualified nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate and a right to work in NZ A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplace Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills Hold a current, clean full drivers' licence Intermediate level computer and online information recording skills Up for a challenge in a field of nursing that is exciting, varied, and evolving Team player, comfortable in making autonomous decisions with support Self-directed ability to plan and organise assignments effectively, to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding, client-focused environment Previous DN, surgical, or wound experience beneficial but not essential Wound care and surgical experience Experienced in long-term conditions, aged residential care, or medical nursing highly desirable Able to utilise your communication skills across multidisciplinary teams and the ability to connect and interact within a multicultural environment Actively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness, and understanding of diversity Total Care Health and Access Community Health is all about enabling our communities and making that small but impactful effect on our communities around Aotearoa.
