Total Care Health Service are a leading and trusted provider of wound care services to ACC. We provide assessment of acute and complex wounds using products that are up to date and are at the leading edge of the wound management process.

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with specialist wound care skills, IV and Urinary Catheter Management skills. No day will be the same, visiting clients at their home, workplace, or place of study.
Our community nursing services operate seven days a week. Range of positions are available from 0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE working rostered days including weekends and public holidays.
If you have previous clinical experience as a district nurse, surgical or wound care experience we would love to hear from you! We provide ongoing in-service education on a regular basis.

A qualified nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate and a right to work in NZ
A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplace
Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills
Hold a current, clean full drivers' licence
Intermediate level computer and on-line information recording skills
Up for a challenge in a field of nursing that is exciting, varied and evolving
Team player, comfortable in making autonomous decisions with support
Self-directed ability to plan and organise assignments effectively, to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding, client focused environment
Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga | Desired skills and experience
Previous DN, surgical or wound experience beneficial but not essential
Wound care and surgical experience
Experienced in long term conditions, aged residential care, or medical nursing highly desirable
Able to utilise your communication skills across Multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to connect and interact within a multi-cultural environment.
Team player, someone who can build professional relationships in the community
Actively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding of diversity
