Livestock Administration And Marketing Assistant

Carrfields Livestock is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our dynamic team. Based in Cambridge this is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong administrative background, proficiency in digital tools, and a keen interest in the agricultural sector. You will assist our Livestock Administration team to ensure effective, prompt, and reliable administration support, particularly in processing livestock sales, both on-farm and at our saleyards. Additionally, in this role you will work closely with out Livestock Management and Representatives with the administration of their seasonal marketing requirements Key Responsibilities Attend sales and on-farm auctions to support the administration team Process livestock sales, NAIT transfers, and auction sales using SaleG8, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Marketing Support: Update design assets (flyers, digital creations) using Canva, update and administer social media content, and assist with online sales information. Key Skills Required for this Role Include: Advanced Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Experience with social media management, and Canva design software (preferred, however training can be provided)Experience in administration with strong organisational and time management skills.High level of written English with great spelling and grammar, and the ability to develop strong working relationships.Accuracy in data entry and documentation management, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.A current full NZ driver's license What we Offer: A competitive hourly rate Full training providedGreat working environment with a well organised team About the Company Carrfields Livestock is a part of the wider family owned Carrfields Group.
