Our Litigation team in Auckland is seeking a Senior Associate to join their ranks. This is a great career progression opportunity for you to work with some of New Zealand's leading litigators, within an energised and supportive team. We appear regularly at all levels of the court system. In this role you will develop your experience across a broad range of high profile commercial disputes, including general commercial disputes, consumer, insurance, insolvency, regulatory and IP matters.
Our ideal candidate will have:
strong academics;7-9 years' litigation experience (including in private practice, as a judge's clerk or in the public sector);strong verbal and written communication skills;a desire to mentor and support junior members of the team;courtroom advocacy skills; anda thirst for building relationships and rapport with clients.Team fit is also very important so, to be successful in this role, you will need to have a professional yet friendly and energetic approach.
