Litigation Lawyer 3+Pqe $75-$135K Plus Kiwisaver

Details of the offer

We are looking for a Solicitor to join our busy litigation and dispute resolution team. In the business for over 100 years, our well-respected firm assists clients throughout New Zealand and overseas. We have always moved with the times; offering modern, attractive offices in the CBD, flexible working to suit all team members' circumstances, and a family-focused work environment. We are looking for a lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE in litigation with strong verbal and written skills, an excellent academic record, and a focus on delivering clients a high level of service. What We Offer: An excellent pathway to a successful career. Varied and interesting clients to work with. Support from a senior Principal in building increasingly strong litigation skills. Long-term working relationships with clients. A friendly and fun team environment. Committed to very high standards of service to our clients and a balanced lifestyle for all who work with us, we don't expect long hours or excessive billings from our people to earn really well. We start with market-leading salaries comparable with much larger law firms ($75,000-$135,000), and tailor each person's WorkPlan to their particular role and desired work-life balance, in which all work is valued and remuneration regularly reviewed. You'll be free to take the responsibility, and commensurate personal accountability, to organise performance of your role flexibly to suit your lifestyle interests, family, and other non-work commitments. We guarantee continuous clarity for all team members around their roles and our expectations, and provide monthly formal sessions with your supervising Partner for feedback and dialogue, as well as having regular opportunities for feedback and discussion with Partners and team members. We walk the talk in caring about our people, and focus on your ongoing skills development with interesting and challenging work, very good training and mentoring, and career progression, in a supportive team of colleagues. Standard benefits include an extra day off on your birthday, income protection insurance, monthly firm lunches, a cell phone, an active social club, and of course the legendary scones baked in-house every Friday! We are also happy to discuss relocation assistance if required. Please apply in the strictest confidence by forwarding your CV together with any written references to Alan Knowsley, Partner, care of #J-18808-Ljbffr
